Nepal

Nepal is landlocked between the two Asian giants: India to the south and China to the north (more precisely Tibet). For many, Nepal evokes the Himalayan peaks but the country is not limited to its magnificent snowy peaks. There are also tropical jungles populated by tigers, elephants and rhinos in the Terai region. Influenced by both Hinduism and Buddhism, Nepal abounds with palaces, temples and monasteries that set the pace of Nepalese life. Here different religions and cultures live side by side in remarkable peace and tolerance. The people are so welcoming that it is very pleasant to share a Masala chai with them. Home to national parks and other protected areas, Nepal is definitely a destination for nature as well as culture…
