Iceland in 2 seasons: from the midnight sun to the northern lights!

Iceland lies south of the Arctic Circle. If you’re planning a trip to Iceland, there are two phenomena unique to its latitude. In summer, light floods in. The sun begins its descent towards sunset, but doesn’t finally disappear. This phenomenon is called the midnight sun. Winter, on the other hand, in these northern latitudes, is a tunnel of long nights enhanced by the aurora borealis. The Icelandic year is summed up in these two seasons, during which the landscapes seem to belong to two different planets. Summer or winter, the magic of Iceland creates unique experiences, images of which we will treasure forever. Not just on the memory cards of our cameras, but deep in our hearts.
